Re: Proposed Plan to Improve High School Campus and Increase Recreational Assets for the
Community In accordance with Section 7.3b of the “Town of South Windsor Inland Wetlands, Watercourses,
and Conservation Regulations,” you are hereby notified that an application has been filed for
improvements to the South Windsor High School campus on the property abutting yours and is subject to a hearing by the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission. The application and plans are on file with the South Windsor Planning Department. The plan includes the installation of a lighted synthetic field, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and changes to mitigate
traffic issues around the high school. In addition to the plans filed with the South Windsor
Planning Department, the entire plan can be seen on the Board of Education’s website at www.southwindsorschools.org.
As an abutting property owner, you are invited to a hearing to ask questions and/or give
comments. You may also submit written comments regarding the application prior to the hearing if you so desire.
