a:In addition to the points cited above, the Conser‘f'a mmission
requests that the management of the wildlife sanctuary would be the
responsibility of a subcommittee of the Conservation Commission.
The committee would include organizations and individual citizens
of the Town of South Windsor who would have the interest of a wild-
life sanctuary at heart.Organizations in eluded in this group
would be the Boy and Girl Scouts,4-H Clubs, the Audubon Society
and Conservation Commission members among others. Most of the
labor devoted to the development and maintenance of the property
would come from volunteer effort. It is suggested that in the bud-
get of the Conservation Commission for 1979-80 that a sum of $500
should be added. This would furnish initial monies to cover the
cost of trees, shrubs, seed and fertilizers, and Sigis to desiguate
the area.Annually,thereafter,the Conservation Commission should
receive $500 to continue the development and maintenance of the wilf.
life sanctuary.
