Where will the topsoil that is removed be relocated?Show a temporary topsoil stockpile as necessary, surrounded by silt fence and seed any topsoil that is stockpiles or spread on site,as well as any disturbed grass areas. Show a stone anti tracking pad by the driveway/parking lot and a gravel or stone access path from the paved driveway or parking lot to where the temporary classrooms will be installed for construction. These can remain or be removed and restored with topsoil and grass seed after the classrooms are complete. Show a paved egress walkway from the outside doors on the north end of the new corridor nearest the existing building and bottom of the stairs on the east side ofthese classrooms to existing pavement as necessary. l suggest the whole set of existing concrete steps east of these classrooms be removed. It will not be easy to leave part of these steps in place and keep them safe and usable as there may be a significant drop off the end and they may look unsightly, Please let me know if there are any questions. The previously proposed coarse gravel layer has been removed from the plans. The existing topsoil will remain in place with a note to maintain drainage to existing structures. 2.Where will the topsoil that is removed be relocated?Show a temporary topsoil stockpile as necessary, surrounded by siltfence and seed any topsoil that is stockpiled or spread on site,as well as any disturbed grass areas. No temporary topsoil stockpile is needed due to no longer proposing a coarse aggregate layer under the structure. 3.Show a stone anti trackingpad by the driveway/parking lot and a gravel or stone access pathjitom the paved driveway or parking lot to where the temporary classrooms will be installedfor construction. These can remain or be removed and restored with topsoil and grass seed after the classrooms are complete. An anti-tracking pad has been added to the plan.A gravel access path was not included because all heavy machinery will be operated from the paved areas on the west side of the existing building. The units will be craned into place from this location. Only small machines will be used on the east side of the building. 4.Show a paved egress walkwayptom the outside doors on the north end ofthe new corridor nearest the existing building and bottom ofthe stairs on the east side ofthese classrooms to existing pavement as necessary.A 5’bituminous path has been added to the east side of the proposed classrooms, connecting all egress doors to the existing bituminous walk. 5.I suggest the whole set ofexisting concrete steps east ofthese classrooms be removed. It will not be easy to leave part ofthese steps in place and keep them safe and usable as there may be a significant drop odthe end and they may look unsightly. All steps will be removed.
