S.)Clarification on how much the 8"topsoil cover over the leaching trencheswill"vary". Soil observation ,pits should be dug in the area of the proposed leachingsystematthetimeofinstallation.It is also recommended that the percolationtestsbedoneintheareaoftheproposedleachingsystem. Enclosed,find a copy of the Connecticut Well Drilling Board's procedurefortheabandonmentofwells.The well that is located on this property is tobeproperlyabandonedpriortoconstructionofthenewsubsurfacesewagedisposalsystem.
