We have reviewed plans for subsurface sewage disposal for Lots l and 2 of a
proposed.15-101:subdivision owned by Morton Shimelman and Joseph Vinick locatedonMainSfbreeiginSouthWindsor.Plans were prepared.by Morton S.Fine andAssociates,inc”.and submitted.to our office for review due to observed.grounawaterconditions.
Plans indicate a ground water intercepting drain will be installed on both lotstocontrolseasonallyhighgroundwaterconditionsasobservedinsoiltestingconductedduringthewetperiodoftheyear.It is recommended the followingchangesbemadetotheproposedsystemtoassureeffectiveoperation;
l.gnvert elevationp for both systems should be raised approximately 2 feetwhichwouldpermittrenchconstructioninoriginalsoilatdepthnotex—'
peeding 3 feet.Proposed systems are presently set LL.5 to 5 feet deep.
2.Ends of leaching trenches should be connected to permit equal distribution.
3.Location of septic tank must be at least 25 feet from proposed curtain drainasrequiredbyCode.
The proposed subsurface sewage disposal system with above—listed chang ncorporatedrepresentsasatisfactorysystemwhichmeetsCoderequiremaybeapproved.
