DearThe Metro Reaity Management Corporation,
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority,at its Reguiar Meeting on December 3,2024,gave
approval for a connection to the town’s sewage system for 240 Deming Street.The proposed plan for
the property is to develop 56 multifamily residentiai units along with a community room at 240 Deming
Street,more specifically shown on plans entitled,”Proposed Multi—Family Development,240 Deming
Street,South Windsor,Connecticut”,prepared by SLR Consulting,99 Realty Drive,Cheshire,CT 06410:
Sheet 06 OF 12,“UT”,dated June 28,2023.
The approval is subject to the following conditions:
l.Technical approval by the Engineering Department;
2.A monitoring easement in favor of the Town from Deming Street to the proposed
private pumping station;
3.Installation of an automatic or manual transfer switch for an external connection
of a generator;
4.Removal of trees within the easement;
5.Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection is
conditioned upon the installed sewer line having been inspected by the Town
staff,and upon the written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer
line was installed in substantial conformance with the design plans approved by
the Authority and meeting all regulations and appropriate technical
specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
6.Payment of the following charges will be calculated and due at the time of
connection at the rates for which are in effect at that time:
a.Capacity Charge determined by the size and quantity of domestic water
meter(s)as specified.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
