permission to utilize a holding tank until the ground has dried enough to
install a septic system.(four to six months should be enough time)

Dear Mr.Deptula,
The purpose of this letter is to request of the Connecticut State Health
Department a permit for a temporary holding tank for the septic system being installed at 100
Long Hill Rd.here in South Windsor.Due to the spring rains,the ground has been too damp to
install the drain fields necessary to complete the improved system.The pump and holding tank
have been installed,each of which has a 1,000 gallon capacity.
The holding tank will be pumped out as often as necessary until we are able to
complete the entire septic system.We would be happy to supply the town with copies of the
bills for having it pumped if that is deemed necessary.Use during this interim time would be
kept to a minimum.The building will be used as a church,our service schedule is Sunday one
service at ll AM and Thursday evenings a service at 1PM.There is also a choir rehearsal on
Tuesday nights.
If there is any other information needed to forward this request please contactmyself,I am the pastor of the church that will be leasing the property of Dave Caron the owneroftheproperty.Thanks for your consideration of this request.

NOTICE OF APPROVAL
Approval is hereby grantad in accordance with Section XI,paragraph G to the Technical
Standards portion of the Connecticut Public Health Code Section 19-13-B103 regarding the
on theinstallationofaTEMPORARYHOLDINGTANKservingACHURCH
property,located at 100 LONG HILL ROAD in the Town of SOUTH WINDSOR,
Connecticut,providing:
1.The purpose ofthis approval is to allow use of the building prior to repairing/
enlarging the septic system.The septic system shall be installed when groundwaterconditionslower.
The holding tank will be installed with a high level alarm and a cleanout to grade to
facilitate pumping.
The septage will be disposed ofby methods in accordance with Section 19-13-
B103c(a)of the Public Health Code.
No sewage shall be allowed to discharge or flow from the holding tank creating a
nuisance condition.
This approval shall expire on October 26,2000.All septic system work shall be
completed and a Permit to Discharge issued by the South Windsor Health
Department prior to this date.
