This is a reminder that the Temporary &Conditional Permit to allow hosting of up to tour
(4)weddings and/or corporate events on property iocated at 653 and 677 Rye Street,
RR zone,expired on September T2,201 9.
it you intend to continue the current use at this location,please submit a renewal
application to the Planning &Zoning Commission.You will need to tile your application
through the Town’s new on-line permitting program.A sign must be displayed for ten
(lO)days prior to the meeting.

Narrative:
Our restaurant group is proposing to host weddings and corporate events on this propeny a few
times per year during the warmer months of the year.We want t0 expand our restaurant presencetothissite,while respecting the farm land and the residents of Rye Street.
Specifics:
Size:For groups of 50 ~150 (we can adjust this number,to better suit the neighborhood and
parking capacity)
Occurence:Maximum of 4 events per yearEventSeason:June —October
Days Events Occur:Friday,Saturday or Sunday from llam e 10pm
Parking:please see site plan.We will use an entrance in south Windsor,that has good sight lines
and is accessible by emergency vehicles Please note:due to the nature of the event,the guests
will all be arriving together and departing together.We will provide a rented bus for events
needing more parking spaces.
Restrooms:Rented for every event,based on the size of the party,and the fire marshall
requirements
Tent:Typically rented from Taylor Rental,or Steve McKay from Euphoria Event Solutions
Food:will be brought in from Vito’s by the Water,we are fully licensed for catering and bar
service.We provide all staff and handle that out of our Windsor location.We prepare and cook
all food at the Vito‘s by the Water location,we serve the food at the farm.No real cooking
occurs,just warming,and hot/cold holding.
We intend to respect the land,and the neighborhood,we fully support the town noise
ordinance and the people attending these events respect the property and our intentions.

Narrative:
The maximum number of people per event is dictated by the tent size and wedding
couple, but we have not had an event larger than 150 guests thus far. For parking, I
do not believe there are changes from the original plans. We do post signage and
rent a police officer per each event to direct traffic. For food it is the same. We do
hot and cold holding under a tent and all food is cooked in our commercial kitchen
and delivered onsite just before meal time. For restrooms we rent trailers,
individual bathroom stalls with light, water, power and air conditioning, per each
event. We have a dedicated power source and the restroom company supplies
water as not to disturb the well on the property. Please let me know if you have any

Please be advised that the Public Hearing of the Planning 8r,Zoning Commission in
the above referenced matter has been scheduled for Tuesday,January l2,2021 at
7:00 p.111.
This meeting will be held online Via a Webex Conference call.Someone must call in
to represent the application.Call in information will be available when the
application for this meeting is posted and will be sent to you.
Two signs advertising the hearing must be posted on the property for ten (10)consecutive days prior to the hearing and must be clearly Visible from a town street.
The signs must be posted on Rye Street and Saxton Lane by Saturday,January 2,
2021.
