Mazolu Animal Sanctuary
Currently there are no sanctuaries or rescues located in South Windsor. The first five
years, there will be limited access by the public to the sanctuary. Volunteers will be
needed, and I have a list of many people who want to help with this endeavor. The
animals planned to be housed for the first few years can be taken care of by my family.
Volunteers will make it easier. Eventually, educational programs about rescue animals
and animal behavior will be offered. The idea is to work with the buildings and space
currently available. The space is ideal for a sanctuary.
The goal for the first year is to raise $5000 for food and veterinary bills. This is to be
accomplished by website donation button, social media and fundraiser events. The
Board will also be looking for grants to help support the animal. We are currently
awaiting nonprofit status if the town approves the sanctuary.
Mission:
Mazolu Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit animal sanctuary located in South Windsor,
Connecticut. We are funded by private donations and staffed by volunteer workers of all
ages from all walks of life. The Sanctuary was started in 2021 by Jessica Waterhouse
who has dedicated her life to healing and nurturing animals who suffered abuse,
abandonment and neglect.
Mazolu Animal Sanctuary homes animals who have been adopted through rescue and
are given proper care, rehabilitation*, and a safe place to live out their lives. There is
space available to foster animals from local rescues and local animal control for
emergency shelter.
*Rehabilitation means health and behavioral.

RE: Customer Request System CRS# 42317¢ — 215 Main St, South Windsor
Dear Sir:
Over 60 days ago CL&P was notified that a residential service upgrade was to be completed at
the above referenced location. Work of this nature must be completed in accordance with the
CL&P Cut and Reconnect Policy. In addition, per CT General Statutes, your town requires an
electrical permit to be issued and that the electrical work is inspected and approved by a Local
Code Enforcement Official.
• CL&P has yet to receive any notification of an inspection approval from the Local Code
Enforcement official.
If CL&P's electrical meter was removed and reinstalled in the meter socket or "jumpers" have
been installed you have an additional 30 days to comply with the CL&P Cut & Reconnect Policy.
• Please contact your Local Code Enforcement Official to schedule an inspection.
If an inspection has already taken place, please have the town notify CL&P.
• Please contact the above referenced Clearing Desk Associate with a job status
update so we can work together to resolve any issues or concerns.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
