SECTION 11
ADMINISTRATION AM ENFORCEMENT
11. 1 Enforcement and Penalties
11.1.1 It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector
to enforce the provisions of these regulations
and to make such orders and decisions as may
be necessary to carry out the intent thereof.
11.1.2 The Building Inspector shall institute any
• appropriate action or proceeding to prevent the
,--awful erection, construction, alteration,
repair or conversion of any building or structure,
of the unlawful use of land; :o restrain, correct
or abate such violations; to prevent the occupancy
of said building, structure or land; or to prevent
any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or
about the premises. 'Whenever such acts shall be
in contradiction to the provisions of these
regulations, penalties shall be as provided
by the General Statutes.
11.2 Applications and Permits
11.2 .1 It shall be unlawful to commence, for any purpose,
the construction or alteration of any building or
excavation for any building or structure or to
commence any use of land or buildings until the
application and plans thereof shall have been
approved by the Building Inspector and a written
permit issued by him.
11.2 .2 The Building Inspector shall require that the
application for the building permit and the
accompanying plot plan or land use shall contain
all the information necessary to enable him to
ascertain whether the proposed building and land
use complies with the provisions of these regulations.
Yo building permits or land use permit shall be
issued until the Building Inspector has certified
that the proposed building or alteration or land
use complies with all provisions of these
regulations.
11.2 . 3 Application for a Zone Change
The procedures to be follow ad by the applicant
when applying for a zone change are :
a. Application forms shall be submitted, in
triplicate, with a $25. application fee .
