A visit was made to observe and evaluate status of construction. 2. The excavation work for the wall and column footings has been completed. Soil at bearing levels is sandy gravel and in excellent condition. No deleterious material was observed at any of the bearing levels. 3. Footings for most of the walls have been formed and reinforcing installed in accordance with design intent. 4. Reinforcing steel is on site at this time for installation in wall forms. The reinforcing steel is appropriate to the design. 5. Approximately % of the wall footings were poured today and the condition of the concrete is excellent. 6. The contractor stated that he intends to continue forming and pouring footings and walls dependent on weather conditons in the next few days. We will be in contact with him regaring these pours to ensure that they are done in conformance ance with design intent. Brault, CWI 91100111 Date: 0 @1h 1/02 Subject: Field Verification Inspection ONAL �J A field inspection was performed at the above-referenced project today. The purpose of this inspection was to verify that completed work was performed utilizing the engineer-approved drawings, the project specifications, and the American Welding Society Structural Welding Code D1.L Field verification inspections were performed on a pre-engineered USA Building System,MFG Job No. 28290. Inspections were completed this date ps follow on the main rigid framing and foundation wall framing. Column plumbness was verified for conformance with the MB 1:300 specification and was found to be within tolerances. The majority of the column base anchor bolt nuts were installed and snug tight. Guy cable location will be completed upon removal. ASTM A355 high strength field bolted connections 5/8",3/4"and 7/8"diameter connections were inspected for proper installation, snug tight bolts and plys in full contact only. The erector completed the "turn of nut" method without the writer being present to witness. The erector was experienced and aware of the Turn Bolt Tightening Procedure. The writer also verified various detail compliances with Drawings I rafter and column brace installation.
