Re:Tenant Unit#'s/broken entrance lights
Dear Mar
I received your e-mailed information regarding the above,June 20,2005 and notified your
property management company,Advanced Properties the same morning.
I visited the site, units 29,30,31 and 32 and observed activity to remove the brush from in
front of your space, leaving your unit number clearly visible from the street.
The workman at the site assured me the entrance light will be addressed.
Please give me a call if I can be of any assistance at(860) 644-2511 x232,8:00am-4:30pm,
Monday through Friday.

Dear Steve,
I am writing this letter as a follow-up to my letter dated May 10, 2005 regarding the
broken lights and obstruction caused by the overgrown bushes at the entrance of units 29,
30, 31 & 32. After writing that letter it occurred to me that this situation affects everyone
living here at Mill River Meadows and our guests. Many of the units here have broken
entrance lights and overgrown bushes that obstruct their unit number. This is in direct
violation of the town ordinance Article IV sec. 86-117 and subject to penalty for violation
stated in sec. 86-118 (enclosed).
My neighbor in unit# 32 was rushed by ambulance to the hospital yesterday afternoon
(June 8 ). The paramedics could not find her unit and had to ask another neighbor (who
was fortunately outside at the time) where the unit was. Once the paramedics reached the
correct unit they stated that the bushes should not be in that state for obvious reasons.
This happened in broad daylight at 4:00pm. During the daylight hours the assigned
parking spaces may have helped but those numbers are now worn beyond visibility. This
is yet another serious issue.
There have been 2 condominium fires in South Windsor in the last year. In an
emergency situation how will law enforcement officials, paramedics and/or fire fighters
find our unit and save our lives if they cannot reach us in time? This is a great liability
for Advanced Property Management to endure should such emergency result in death or
permanent disability. I have also enclosed pictures of the remaining broken light and the
overgrown bushes illustrating the obstruction of#30 & 32. The electrician has since
fixed "one" of the "two' broken lights on June 1, 2005. Your immediate attention to this
matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration
Sincere -

Dear Nancy:
I have obtained signatures of the owners at 29, 30, 31 & 32 Candlewood Drive. We
all agree that the bushes at the entrance to our units are a safety hazard and
should be removed as soon as possible. These bushes are enormously overgrown and
obstruct our view both coming and going. Further, the 2 exterior lights are not
working. Calls have been made to report the broken lights but nothing has been
done to fix them yet . We would all like the peace of mind that we are coming hom
to a safe, well-lit entrance. It is pertinent that these concerns be addressed.
Feel free to call me at 648-2881 with any questions regarding this letter . Your
prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
