Due to the past history of ground water contamination (pesticides) in your area or of your well,
the Department of Environmental Protection is requiring that the Town have a sample of your
well water analyzed for pesticide contamination (chlordane and dieldrin).
'Please contact me at 644-2511_ext. 248 witnin.ten days of receipt of this correspondence if yop
would like Vo i drinking water analyzed at no cost to you. The results will help determine your
eligibility.to be connected to the available public water if you so choose.
Failure to respond within ten (10) days of receipt of this correspondence will be interpreted as a
"NO" answer, that you do not wish to have your water tested.
