Re: Compliance with approved plans for pool installation
Dear Mr. Craddock:
Based on a complaint received by the Towns Engineering Department, it
has come to our attention that you are not in compliance with the plan
submitted for the installation of an in-ground pool. This plan was
submitted June 5, 2018, and showed a silt fence was to be installed to the
north, east and south of the proposed pool.
To date, the silt fence has not been installed, and as a result water and silt
have migrated off your property and onto the property to the rear of your
yard.
As soon as the weather allows, you must install the silt fencing and remove
all silt and material that has accumulated on neighboring property.
Please contact me verifying receipt of this letter and provide me with a
schedule of when you propose to have this work done to avoid potential
enforcement action. Once the silt fence is installed, please contact me so
that we may perform an inspection. If this continues to be a problem,
you may be required to provide an as-built plan demonstrating how the
final grading does not cause discharge onto neighboring properties. Call
