Re: Possible new shed
Dear Mr. Smith & Ms. Fusconi:
It has come to my attention that you may have recently placed a new
shed on your property. Please be aware that the Town of South Windsor
regulates the installation and location of such structures through the Town
zoning regulations, a copy of the appropriate section is attached.
If the structure is larger than 200 square feet, it requires a building permit, -
while structures 200 square feet and smaller require a zoning permit. The
zoning regulations also identify a 10 foot setback from the side and rear
property lines for properties in the A-20 zone.
A review of the Town files does not show that either permit was applied
for. If you have indeed just purchased the shed, please come in and
apply for the appropriate permit, demonstrating that it is within the
