Re: Commercial trucks
Dear Mr. Duran:
This office has gone by your property at 88 Barber Hill Road numerous
times in the past month, and has seen a large box truck, and another box
truck on a trailer parked in the side yard. Section 3.2. 18 Commercial
Vehicles of the Town Zoning regulations only allows one commercial
vehicle to be parked on residential property provided such vehicle is a
van or pick-up type vehicle. A copy of the regulation is included for your
review.
Please remove the commercial vehicles from your property by January 5,
2017 to avoid enforcement action by this office. You can contact me at
(860) 644-2511, extension 251 if you have any questions. Thank you for

NOTICE OF VIOLATION

Location: 88 Barber Hill Road, South Windsor
Dear Mr. Duran:
I sent you a letter on December 22, 2016 regarding the presence of box
trucks and a tow truck on your property at 88 Barber Hill Road.
You were advised that the Town of South Windsor does not allow this type
of commercial vehicles to be parked on a residential property, and
requested to remove the trucks by January 5, 2017.
A site inspection on January 17, 2017 showed that the trucks are still
parked on your property. The continued presence of these box trucks
and tow truck is a violation of Section 3.2. 1B Commercial Vehicles.
CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED: Remove the box trucks and tow truck by
January 30, 2017.
Your immediate cooperation in this matter is appreciated. If you have

Location: 88 Barber Hill Road, South Windsor
Dear Mr. Duran:
I sent you a Notice of Violation on January 19, 2017 regarding the
presence of box trucks and a tow truck on your property at 88 Barber Hill
Road.
You were advised that the Town of South Windsor does not allow this type
of commercial vehicles to be parked on a residential property, and
requested to remove the trucks by January 5, 2017. Those trucks were
subsequently removed from your property.
While driving past your home several times over the past two months,
there is another box truck parked there (Sid Miller's), as well as a flatbed
tow truck and another tow truck. The presence of these trucks is a
violation of Section 3.2.1B Commercial Vehicles.
CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED: Remove the box truck and tow trucks by
January 15, 2018.

disrepair, in the front yard. Section 3.2. 1B Commercial Vehicles of the

on residential property provided such vehicle is a van or pick-up type

I have seen a commercial truck, a flatbed tow truck in the front yard of
the property at 88 Barber Hill Road for several months. Section 3.2. 1B
Commercial Vehicles of the Town Zoning regulations only allows one
commercial vehicle to be parked on residential property provided such
vehicle is a van or pick-up type vehicle. A copy of the regulation is again
included for your review. This is not the first time I have warned you about
the presence of commercial vehicles on the property.
Please remove the commercial vehicle from your property by March 22,
2019 to avoid enforcement action by this office. You can contact me at
