Re: Business signage
Dear Mr. Robinson:
This office has observed two signs for your home painting business at the
end of your driveway, in the Town Right of Way for some time now. When
you applied for your home occupation in June 2011, you indicated a
small lawn sign on your application. At that time, you were told that the
sign size was limited to two (2) square feet.
I have attached a copy of the relevant sign regulations for the Town.
Home occupations are limited to one (1) sign, at a maximum size of 2
square feet. In addition, the sign must be placed behind the property
line, or ten (10) feet from the road, whichever is further.
Please remove one of your signs, and ensure that the remaining sign
meets both the size and setback requirements of the regulations by June
22, 2018 to avoid enforcement action. Contact me at (860) 644-2511,
