Re: Campers at 9 Main Street, South Windsor
To whom it may concern:
I have received complaints about the presence of campers in the mobile
home park at 9 Main Street in South Windsor. During site visits on Monday,
July 11, 2016 and Tuesday, August 2, 2016, 1 saw three (3) campers on
spaces reserved for mobile manufactured homes.
Please be aware that this is a violation of the Town of South Windsor
Zoning Regulations. Section 7. 19 Trailers and Camping Vehicles, regulates
the parking or storing of campers for more than 24 hours in a week in any
residential zone. Section 7. 19D limits the number of such vehicles on any
one property to one (1) vehicle. Additionally, Section 7. 19E states that no
such vehicle is allowed to be occupied, used or connected to utilities
while it is on the property. A copy of the regulation has been included for
your reference.
The three campers need to be disconnected from all utilities, any residents
relocated and the campers removed from the property by August 31 ,
2016 to avoid enforcement action by this office. You can contact me at
