Dear Mr. Keresman:
Based on a complaint received on March 14, 2016, 1 went out to your
property on March 15, 2016. I found that trash has been dumped over the
side of the hill along Troy Road. Please be advised that this condition
meets the definition of a blighted structure within the Town of South
Windsor's Anti-Blight Ordinance, Section 3a. Section 4 of the Ordinance
prohibits any owner to allow property to be blighted. A copy of the
Ordinance is attached for your review.
Additionally, accumulated trash on the slopes is migrating to the State
regulated wetland located at the bottom of the slope. This can result in a
possible violation from the South Windsor Inland Wetland Commission.
To avoid enforcement action from this office, please remove the trash
from the slopes and wetland areas by April 1, 2016, and take the
necessary steps.to ensure this does not recur. If you have any questions,
