Re: Home based business
Dear Ms. Marino;
It has come to the attention of this office that there are a large number of
vehicles and individuals coming and going from this property, raising the
question of a possible business being run from this property. A review of
Town records indicates that there is currently one (1 ) vehicle registered to
this address, yet multiple trucks and vehicles are visible on the property on
a daily basis.
Our research has found that Mr. Rocky Delmaro, who lists this address as
his residence, was the owner of Greater Connecticut Roofing LLC, and
currently is involved with Four Seasons Roofing. Please be aware that the
Town of South Windsor regulates home based businesses. A copy of the
relevant section of the regulations, as well as a permit application is
attached for your use.
If you wish to operate a business at this site, please complete and submit
the application, demonstrating compliance with the zoning regulations by
November 10, 2017. If there is no home business, please send me a letter
certifying that. Contact me at (860) 644-2511, ext. 251 if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,

Location: 727 Deming Street, South Windsor
Dear Ms. Marino:
A letter was sent to you on October 23, 2017 regarding the possible
business being run on your property at 727 Deming Street. In addition,
there were multiple unregistered vehicles and at least one dump truck on
the site.
You were advised that the Town of South Windsor regulates home based
businesses. A permit application was included in the letter with a request
to respond by November 10, 2017. To date, we have received no
correspondence from you.
The Town also regulates the amount and type of commercial vehicles that
can be kept on a residential property. The regulations allow one (1)
commercial vehicle, limited to either a van or pick-up truck type. A site
inspection on December 5, 2017 showed that there are multiple
commercial trucks, including a dump truck parked on your property. The
presence of the dump truck is a violation of Section 3.2. 1B Commercial
Vehicles.
CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED: Remove the dump truck and
unregistered vehicles and register the business by December 29, 2017.
Your immediate cooperation in this matter is appreciated. If you have
any questions, please contact me at (860) 644-2511, ext. 251.
Sincerely,
Pamela A. Oliva, CHO
