Re: Blighted property at 335 Graham Road, South Windsor, CT
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Estey:
I have received a complaint regarding the maintenance of your property at 335
Graham Road. Specifically, a blue car has been parked on your property, within
the public view, for several months. This car has been damaged to the point of
being incapable of immediately performing the function for which it was
designed. Please be advised that this condition meets the definition of debris
under Section 3f of the Town of South Windsor Anti-Blight Ordinance, a copy of
which is included for your information.
Section 4 of the Anti-Blight Ordinance finds it to be a public nuisance for any
person owning any premises in South Windsor to maintain such premises as
blighted property. Please remove the damaged vehicle by May 29, 2015
to avoid enforcement action and potential daily penalties of one
hundred ($100) dollars by this office.
You have the right to appeal this action to a Hearing Officer within ten (10) days
after service of this notice on you, in accordance with the Anti-Blight Ordinance
of the Town of South Windsor. Call me at (860) 644-2511, ext. 251 if you have
any questions.
Sincerely,
Pamela A. Oliva
