The bert CERAMIC RAYHEAD Designed and perfected by Lambert Industries, the Lambert Rayhead, with ceramic elements, permits the high intensity heating (around 1650' at the burner surface) which is the secret of infra-red heat. The Lambert Rayhead consists of a grid pattern of 190 tiny orifices per square inch protruding through a roughened burner surface, which serves to concentrate and intensify the heat. The roughened surface also holds the flame better than smooth surfaces, offering best insurance against outage due to winds or drafts.
