The lot is located on the north side of Windsorville Road and is bounded on the east by the East Windsor town line and on the north and west by land N/F J.E. Shepard. Percolation tests conducted at the location indicated on the attached map concluded that the soil has excellent absorptive characteristics. The soil consists of three feet of fine uniform glacial till underlain with medium uniform sand extending to a depth of seven feet . There is no evidence of shallow groundwater or ledge which would interfere with the normal functioning of the leaching system. A percolation rate of two (2) minutes per inch was recorded at the site. This is an excellent rate in accordance with the State Standards and a minimum effective leaching area of 375 square feet is recommended. The house lot is of sufficient size to provide a reserve area for expansion or replacement of the primary leaching system as required by the State Standards. Jourdan uilding Official To whom it may concern, I wanted to contact you regarding the status of my swimming pool. I acquired a permit and had the pool installed late last swimming season. Unfortunately there were difficulties involved and never did get a chance to make use of it. First there was a problem involving the required GFI circuit breaker, then there was a problem with a ground mole digging under the pool liner. When I had someone out to take care of that they dropped a pump in the pool and ripped the liner. After some time they replaced the liner but swimming season was over. I have now had the electrical problem resolved by the electrician, have the new liner installed and am working on the grading around the pool. I hope to have it ready for inspection very soon as the children are quite anxious. I appreciate your patience (and am surprised at my own).
