Your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals requesting approximately
a 7-foot sideyard variance and approximately a 13-foot building line variance to Section
5, Article 5.2, to allow construction of an attached garage on premises known as
242 Abby Road, South Windsor, Zone RR, has been approved.
The Board felt because the existing house was built before present zoning regulations,
the narrow width of the lot makes it impossible to build without encroaching because
the house is in front of the 50-foot building line. Even though the proposed garage
will be in front of the house, it still maintains the line of the front of the house.
This action is effective December 17, 1975, and upon filing in the Town Clerk's
Office.
