Chairman, IWA/CC Town of South Winds r 1540 Sullivan Ave. South Windsor, Ct 0 074 RE: Application #4 0 - Dyko Industries Dear Jack: As with the other a plications to be heard, below is the review of the site plans of 6 23/86 of the above site . Summary - It appears that sufficient information has been supplied on both the plans and on the narrative to determine the impact on the wetlands and the appropriate sedimentation & erosion control. If approval would be given, these conditions might apply: 1 . Provide suffici nt surface drainage during the construction phase to the st eet. 2 . Modify plans to show construction limits & fencing. 3 . Any clearing ou side the construction limits should be on a selective met od, not by machine. 4 . Seeding of expo ed areas will be as indicated, within 15 days . 5. Conservation bo ding of $5,000 minimum. This is the last to on a cul-de-sac street. The potential for com- plaint on the roadway are limited. As far as the abutters , extra special care should be exercised to avoid problems . The narrative indicates a snow fence is to be installed along the perimeter of clearing. This is quite appropriate . These limits should also be shown, say 5 ' outside hay bales as indicated on the north, east and south side of the construction. To: Jack Moran 2- 7//7/86 Re : Dyko Industriel The existing tree growth is not spectacular on the site, but when it becomes time to int rplant with the pines , perhaps selective trimming would also be appro riate to encourage buffering growth. If the construction were to follow the plans as submitted, the impact on the wetlands wou d be minimal. With a little effort, they could enhance the ground ater intake . Very truly yours , A. B.
