Section 4.0 states, "It is hereby declared a public nuisance for any person owning, leasing,occupying or having charge or possession of any premises in the Town of South Windsor to maintain such premises or any public right-of-way abutting said premises in such a manner that any of the following exist thereon: Dead,decayed, diseased or damaged trees constituting a hazard or danger to adjacent premises or the occupants thereof or to public property or persons lawfully therein." I visited your property on February 25,2000 in the afternoon with Karl Reichle, South Windsor Tree Warden and observed a severely decayed tree on the southeast corner of your property along Abbe Road. This tree presents a hazard or danger to the users of the public right-of-way known as Abbe Road. Pursuant to Section 4.c) and Section 9 of the South Windsor Blight and Nuisance Ordinance,you are hereby ordered to remove the decayed tree. This shall be accomplished within 30 days after receipt of this letter. Failure to comply with this order may result in fines being levied against you and possible legal action in Superior Court.
