Re: Temple Beth Hillel * South Windsor, CT.
Dear Mr. Collins,
The following is an itemized response to comments regarding the Code review of
Temple Beth Hillel dated September 30, 1999:
1.The total number of occupants is 533 and is based on the following:
a) largest number of occupants at one time for the
Sanctuary/Social Hall usage and
b) classrooms, offices and Bet Midrash at full occupancy.
2.Swing-down grab bars as required by Code will be provided.
3.A knox box will be located at the Front Entrance to the building.
4.Siesmic reference notes on restraints for HVAC, sprinkler, etc. will be
provided.
5.The Classrooms and Nursery Rooms are to be used for "limited use".
They will generally be used 40 weeks a year, no more than three (3)
hours a day and will not be used for sleeping.
6. List of special inspectors and labs will be provided. Statement of
special inspection stamped by Structural Engineer of Record is being
provided.
7.Siamese connection is located near entry to Building - See Drawing
P-2 dated 9/7/99 noted as "2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 4" Fire Department".
