Dear Ms. Ocasio:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on November 7, 2002, the
Board approved with conditions your request for a variance to section 11.2 to allow a residential
dwelling without a garage, at 197 Brook Street, A-20 zone.
The Board concluded the hardship to be that this variance would alleviate the safety concerns
associated with running a daycare center on this premises.
The following condition was placed on this application: A garage must be constructed on the
property within five years.
Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, requires a building permit prior to
start of construction.
These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your
own expense.
