Dear Mr. Ryan:
Enclosed, please find an application for certificate of appropriateness relating to the
proposed replacement of out roof. Our house is the former Judge Grant residence
previously owned by the Robbins'. Our roof sustained damage during the previous two
rainstorms, and we wish to have a new roof installed as soon as possible to prevent further
damage.
We request that the Historic District Commission hold a public hearing at its next
regularly scheduled meeting to rule on the enclosed application for certification of
appropriateness.
Please notify us of the date, time, and place of the public hearing in order that we may
give notice of the meeting. Additionally, if there is anything we can do to enable us to
begin the work before mid-November, please let us know. We can be reached at 528-
