We reviewed the National Electric code system grounding requirements and the problems of their interconnection of systems at the meter box. We strongly emphasize our position that a common grounding location at the water service to the building with grounding rods as specified by the National Electric Code is allowable and preferred. Any other grounding location dumps unwanted electrical disturbances onto questionable equipment grounds and on our system neutral. Any existing location we find objectionable will be reported to you. You must arrange to relocate the ground conductors and attachments to the proper location. Please relocate the cable ground away from this referenced meter box as soon as possible.
