Dear Ms. Zwick:
I have reviewed the referenced request for modification to utilize Section 308.5.2,
of the 2003 International Building Code.
It is my decision to approve this modification, as requested, to utilize the
approved language of the referenced section of the 2003 International Building
Code, in lieu of the requirements of the 1999 State Building Code. This decision
is based on the approved language of the model document.
