Dear Mr. Collins
As per our phone conversation of November 4, 941 I would like
to clarify the showroom wall- detail on the East Coast Stair
building. The wall is framed with 3 5/8" 18 gauge studs 1611 on
center. These studs have an allowable unbraced height of 19'-111.
Our design is conservative, as our ceiling height is 18'-4" and we
are bracing the back side of the wall at the 16' height by putting
diagonal bracing at 4' on center.
