site. Met w/Paul Hollman.
Visually inspected wood trusses for conformance with MITEK approved approved truss assemblydrawings, plan drawing, and conventional use of standard hanging and fastening systems, and found
the following:
Trusses were assembled and set as drawn.
Simpson hurricane ties were on 3 exterior walls.
Two Simpson ties one at each connection of 021's to J29's, were not fully fastened as designed.
Two GT hangers one at each connection ofJ21's to M02's had been bolted to JQ2x8's off center

FIELD STRUCTURAL STEEL INSPECTION
Met with project manager, Paul Hollman at site. Reviewed fabricator CECO drawings.
Erector was installing roofing.
Visually inspected mezzanine framing and deck and found the following:
One column was out of plumb at B 1/1 OA
One baseplate was missing a nut at B/11
Decking and all other connections were completed and acceptable per AWSD1.1,
AWSD1.3, AISC, and approved drawings.
Welding of nuts to anchor bolts should be submitted for approval if required to
compensate for short bolts or slotted baseplates.
Inspector began visual inspection of main building frame because erector foreman reported
all connections completed. Inspector found one loose rod brace at 139/1-2 and marked the
column beside the brace. No other discrepancies were found at this time.
Crane beams and hangers were still in progress.
