Dear Mr. Jacques:
This is a follow up to my letter dated September 18, 1995.
Still outstanding are issues 1 (shrubs) and 4 (grass) . These are
both time and temperature sensitive, so I would like them to be
addressed promptly. In addition, there are three important items
that have come up as a result of the removal and replacement of
our front porch. I do want to say that I was pleased at how
quickly you responded to the problem in the first instance.
There are some follow-up issues which I wish to bring up.
1. The stucco work that was done is not adequate. The
color does match the rest of the foundation. This is the most
visible part of the house and it looks terrible to have different
shad s on the foundation. It should not take long or require

with a new coating of stucco. Also, on the left side of the
porch, the stucco work is not even. This need to be fixed.
2. The railings. When the railings were put back after
removal of the slab, there were cracks in the main rails where
they meet the roof. This was because the rails were forced back
into place. There were nail holes as well. Some of the holes
have been filed, but there are others that need to completed.
Portions of the rails need to be painted after the holes are
filled. The railings were in perfect condition before the slab
was removed, I expect that they will be restored to the same
condition.

3. Most importantly, I pointed out to Roger that the slabisnoteven. This results in puddling near the house. My
concern is that with winter approaching, this may result in a
dangerous condition. If water puddles near the house and then
freezes, it will be very slippery. For the time being I do not
think there is anything that needs to be done, but I want to goonrecordashavingthisconcern, so that if a problem develops
during the winter and I notify you that you will understand that
I had this concern now, prior to the expiration of our one year
warranty period. I understand from the town that they do not
accept puddling on sidewalks and the like. I am not happy about
having this on my front porch.
