RE: PERMIT #355 CL & P GAS COMPANY
A permit was taken out June 13,. 1986 to repair a minor gas leak at
#12 Ahern Lane. Work was to begin 6/17/86.
Steve checked the site on June 27th--no work had been done.
The site was checked again by Les Braddock 7/18/86. Still--NO WORK
had been done.
I called Frank Kamay of CL & P and explained the situation. He checked
and told me:
1. Classification of leak approved by PUC
2. This is a Class III leak (low priority) .
3. There is no danger
4. Should be getting to it within a week
I checked with Bill Lanning and he said that there was an approval
plan for repairing leaks and for monitoring same.
Informing Frank Kamay of CL & P should get things moving.
