CT Re.: Existing Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Area Coverage Dear Mr. King, We appreciate your concern with regards to the existing fire sprinkler system that protects the facility located at 25 Bidwell Road in South Windsor- specifically related to fire sprinkler spray-pattern coverage along the tenant area demising wall that is positioned perpendicular to the west exterior wall adjacent to the overhead door on the -Pete's Tire Barns" tenant area side. The closest row of fire sprinklers is currently located 6'-9 1/2" from the demising wall interior plywood "face". Please know that the distance does comply with NFPA-13 (2010 edition); 8.5.3.2.1 (Maximum Distance from Walls)and Table 8.6.2.2.1 (b)(Protection Areas and Maximum Spacing of Standard Pendent and Upright Spray Sprinklers for Ordinary Hazard (occupancies)). For your convenience. we have attached partial copies of the code verbiage listed above. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Best regards.
