Dear Mr.Neary:
The Town of South Windsor Health Department received notification that the
homeowners at 381 and 414 Foster Street may have water supply wells partially located
within an area formerly used as orchard lands and that the current status of the use of
their water supply wells was in need of evaluation. Upon investigation,it was found that
381 Foster Street is a customer of CT Water Company and that the well at 414 Foster
Street is not contaminated with dieldrin(the chemical of concern)per testing performed
on May 11,2015.
Please contact the Town of South Windsor Health Department if you have any other
questions or concerns about these properties.
