He could not find the club--Doreen waited for him for almost an hour--so they had to re-schedule. We are also looking into a substance called Sani-Tred--the company has been called and a representative has spoken with our grounds director. 2) The peeling paint on the walls and ceiling tiles in bathroom: waiting on the painter; grounds director had difficulty finding correct size ceiling tiles. He plans to buy them and cut them to fit. Other things are done: 1) Block 1 patched. We are hoping to buy a complete replacement from either a swim club in Farmington that is closing down (Red Oak Hill) or from UConn as they are completely renovating Zack-Wolfin. 2) Flag pole holes are plugged. 3) Ring buoys found (2) . 4) Eye wash purchased and in first aid cabinet. 5) Bathrooms scrubbed free of mold and mildew; rust scraped from stalls but waiting for painter. 6) Pool vacuuming (obviously ongoing) Let me know if you want to come tomorrow afternoon, knowing that the "list" is not yet complete. Water is clear and balanced: chlorine = 4, pH = 7.4. Additionally, we brought a sample to Vernon Pool Man and for extra confidence we also brought the sample to Splash. Both said the sample looked great. Therefore, if anyone is crazy enough to want to swim, we are going to let them. I am available I believe any day next week at 3:00 or later. If you cannot make it at that time or just prefer an earlier time, maybe our pool operations director can help. His name is Tim Kiessling and his cell phone number is 860-985-0147 (or I can arrange it for you) . Alternatively, I can also arrange for the head guard to meet you at any time-- she is home from college. I hope the weather didn't mess up your weekend plans! Maybe I'll see you next week! Kim 1 y
