RE. Remedial Action Report
Lot#63—Dzen Tree Farm Subdivisions South Windsor,CT
Dear Mr.Mannarino:
Zuvic,Carr and Associates,Inc.(Zuvic Carr)has prepared this letter report to summarize the
remedial action that was conducted at the above-referenced site. Remediation was conducted to
meet cleanup objectives outlined in Zuvic Associates,Inc.(Zuvic)remedial action plan(RAP),
dated March 5,2008,including addressing pesticide contaminated soil. Remedial activities were
conducted in accordance with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental
Protection's(CTDEEP)March 1999 Guidance on the Development of Former Agricultural
Properties,
Remedial Action
On July 2,2013,Zuvic Carr observed the placement of at least eight inches of clean fill material
(i.e.capping)over pesticide impacted topsoil at Lot#63 (see highlighted lot on attached Figure
1). As a result, it is Zuvic Carr's opinion that Lot#63 has been remediated in accordance with
the CTDBEP's March 1999 Guidance on the Development of Former Agricultural Properties. No
further action on Lot#63 is recommended.
