No activity is proposed within the regulated wetlands. Three storm water quality
basins,along with grading and a portion of the gravel parking and access drive,are proposed
within the upland review area The proposed construction activities(gravel parking,stone
water basins)are in flat areas adjacent to previously disturbed areas. They are located far
enough from the wetlands and will not impact the functionality of the resources.
Stabilization of disturbed areas and maintenance of the storm water basins are
critical to avoiding direct wetland impacts Stabilization of areas that may receive overflow
from the basins is as important as the basins themselves. The presence of coarse sands and
gravel in the area of the basins will help to promote infiltration and reduce nuioff. An
assessment of the fill should be made prior to the constriction of the basins in areas where
the basins are to be constricted in fill material. If the existing fill material in the areas of the
basins is deemed to be less than suitable,consideration should be given to providing a
defined outlet or under-drain in the basin
