Additional data is, however, required in order for v the petition, application or request to be considered complete. As a result of a preliminary review of the plans entitled Proposed Medical Office Building, prepared by LRC Group which were last revised on October 28, 2011 and received by this office on December 7, 2011, the following comments must be addressed in order for the review to commence: 1. The Sign Legend shown on Sheet SP1 needs to include the Department's Sign Catalog numbers for signs posted in the State right-of-way in order to ensure proper size and retro-reflectivity. Signs must also be installed in accordance with the Department's typical detail sheets for height and breakaway post. 2. The Route 194 site drive channelizing island needs to be constructed 2' back from the Sullivan Avenue extended gutter line. 3. The work necessary to construct the new Route 194 right turn lane will require exposing and relocating an existing 2" RMC conduit for traffic signal coordination. The plans need to address this conduit and how it will be relocated. 4. The Route 194 pavement restoration needs to be shown on the plans. The new right turn lane will need to be transitioned into the South Windsor Town Hall/Library Drive. The plans need-to include the-proposed`driveway contours and extent of mill and overlay. It appears the Town Hall driveway apron will require a complete mill and overlay in order to provide a smooth transition. As part of the mill and overlay, the existing Route 194 solid white shoulder line will also need to be milled prior to installing the final top course and new pavement markings.
