1- based on resaiced left-ian egress
' 2- new site taft to/ftm north assigned to this drive
As summarized above,operation of all study intersections is unchanged from Background to Full
Development conditions. Therefore, it is concluded that the proposed project will have NO
' significant impact on the adjacent roadway network This is not surprising given the
developments relatively low trip generation and the high existing volumes.
' With left turn egress restriction, the proposed site driveway is anticipated to operate at LOS B
and C during the AM and PM peak hours,respectively.
' SHE ACCESS
' The subject property is within the"Sullivan Avenue/Duckland Road Route 5-Route 30 Corridor"
as defined in Section 5.5 of the South Windsor Zoning Regulations and is subject to the
requirements of the Town's Access Management Plan. This-overlay zone was established to
manage access to fronting properties and preserve the capacity and safety of the Town's major
' arterials. The Access Management regulations provide criterion on the following design
elements:
• number of driveways;
' • spacing of driveways to nearest intersection;
W spacing of driveway to opposite driveways.
' Access to the development is proposed via a single site driveway along Sullivan Avenue. This is
consistent with Section 5.5.4.A,I which allows no more than one driveway where lot frontages
are less than 450 feet.
