Dear Mr.ONeill:
Subject: Town of South Windsor
Connecticut Studios
Administrative Decision
The information submitted pursuant to Section 14-311 of the General Statutes of Connecticut received on
August 10,2012,requesting an Administrative Decision(AD)to preclude formal Office of the State Traffic
Administration(OSTA)action regarding the subject change in use,will be reviewed by the Department of
Transportation. However,the submission is incomplete and the following items must be addressed before the
review can continue:
1. Please revise the overall site plan to identify the certifiable area as"OSTA Certifiable Area"and include the
property owner information. In addition,please revise the table headings to"Previously Approved,""Current
Changes Proposed"and"Total."
2. Documentation showing what change,if any,is being proposed to the stormwater management system
associated with the elimination of the two buildings in the previously approved OSTA permit for the site.
3. A schematic showing the proposed stormwater management system for the newly added hotel location.
Should you have any questions regarding the traffic technical review,you may contact Ms.Tracy L.Fogarty,P.E.at
860.594.2740 in the Division of Traffic Engineering. Should you have any questions regarding the drainage technical
review,you may contact Mr.Michael E.Masayda,P.E. at 860.594.3238 in the Hydraulics and Drainage Unit.
The submitted planning and zoning approval did not reference a submitted site plan or indicate approved building
square footage and number of parking spaces. Please provide written confirmation from the Town indicating
approved building square footage and number of parking spaces.
