the right,and the passenger side of vehicle#2 struck the driver side of vehicle#1.
CONCLUSION: Based on my investigation at the scene,the damage to both vehicles,and the verbal statements made by both operators,
the following events occurred that resulted in the crash:Operator#1 (Pellegatto)was east bound on Chapel Rd behind vehicle
2(Zimmermann).Zimmermann began to make a right turn into the driveway of number 379 Chapel Rd.
Pellegatto believed that vehicle#2 was making a left turn,and Pellegatto began passing vehicle*2 on the right when it
was not safe to do so Pellegatto's improper passing maneuver caused the passenger side of vehicle#2 to collide with the
driver side of vehicle#1.There were no independent witnesses to this crash,therefore it could not be determined if vehicle
#2 had a proper turn signal displayed. It was determined that vehicle#2's turn signals were in proper working order.Pellegatto
was issued Infraction#N278018-3 charging him with Passing On The Right CGS 14-233.
CLOSED:INFRACTION ISSUED.
