driveway on Route 30 (Ellington Road) and one new unsignalized driveway on
Chapel Road.
Study Methodology
' The focus of this study is to evaluate the traffic flows and operating conditions on the
roadways and intersections likely to be used by motorists to and from the site and
the potential traffic impacts on these roadways and intersections.
The greatest cumulative impact of project-related traffic is likely to occur during the
weekday morning and evening peak hour when traffic consists primarily of
commuters. Thus, the traffic impact study analyzes traffic operating conditions
during these two peak periods.
To evaluate the potential traffic impacts of the proposed development, an analysis of
traffic conditions for the 2010 Existing,2015 No-Build and 2015 Build conditions was
conducted.
Also included, as part of this study are analyses of the accident history and vehicle
queue lengths at the signalized intersections within the study area, all in accordance
with State Traffic Commission (STC) guidelines and requirements as illustrated on
Figure 2.
