queues are expected to be reduced or comparable to the projected 2015 No-Build
conditions.
The proposed unsignalized site driveways on Chapel Road and Route 30 (Ellington
Road) are projected to operate at an acceptable level of service during the peak
periods analyzed.It is recommended that a left turn lane be installed on the Route 30
(Ellington Road)eastbound approach to the proposed site driveway.
In summary, the surrounding roadway network is anticipated to adequately
accommodate the forecasted traffic increases generated by the proposed Connecticut
Studios development, and the site driveways can safely and adequately serve the
proposed development traffic with the recommended optimized signal timings and
proposed roadway improvements.
