I'd want to know what will be done to assure that they will be accessible. • if the interior is potentially going to be dug up for shoots how is the water main going to be protected. If it is going to stay in that location and be connected in Ellington Road I think it would be a good idea to have some sectional valves(PIV) in case a break occurs • I'm not sure the long 6" mains along the perimeters will give us the needed pressure and flow. I'd want to see some caics if these are going to remain. If they think a 10" is needed to supply sprinklers what makes them think a 6"would be adequate for hydrants. • If the 12" is not going to be connected at Ellington Road, I'd need to see some calculations and I think we should have an internal loop within the property. • The hydrant that is on the north side of the Chapel Road entrance should be relocated to the south side. If we lay from that hydrant I don't want to block the entrance. The same is true with the last hydrant in the Ellington Road entrance. These two hydrants are the last ones on a 12" main. • If the connection is not going to be made at Ellington Road then the first hydrant in from Ellington Road should be at the entrance so we can use it for incidents on Ellington Road I'd be happy to meet with VHB and MDC.
