RE: Proposed Replacement of the Recirculation/Filtration Equipment,Piping and
Main Drains at the Existing Outdoor Swimming Pool
Located at Pleasant Valley Condominiums, 949 Pleasant Valley Road, South Windsor, CT
Dear Mr. Brennen:
Our office is in receipt of a submission dated November 8, 2017 concerning the proposed
replacement of the recirculation/filtration equipment,piping and main drains at the subject
swimming pool. Plans and specifications for the construction of this swimming pool were
originally approved by this department on August 10, 1972.
The proposed equipment to be installed includes:
1. Replace the existing recirculation pump with: (1) Pentair IntellifloXF; 3 H.P., Rated at
120 GPM @ 50 Ft. TDH (set rate)
2. Replace the existing filters with: (2)Pentair Model# TR100C High Rate Sand Filters,
Total Filter Area=2 x 4.91 Ft2=9.82 Ft2,NSF Listed
