On May 2, 2012, this department received a B100a application for the proposed construction of a
16 by 14 foot deck on your property.
Upon review of the information provided on your application the proposal has been approved with
the following conditions:
• A minimum of 5 feet is to be maintained between the deck and the septic system.
This approval is granted under Section 19-13-13100a of the Connecticut Public Health Code. Approval
is given with the understanding that proper care and maintenance of your existing septic system be
taken. In the event that the existing subsurface sewage disposal system fails, you will be required to
connect to the public sewer system.
Be advised, that you must obtain all appropriate approvals from other town departments prior to
commencing work on this project.
