Dear Carline C. Sladyk,
As you are aware, work is being done in your area toward providing a potable water supply.
You have indicated that you wish to keep your well and still be connected to the public water.
As you are aware, a backflow preventer must be installed on your incoming water line at your
own expense in order for you to be provided with public water. It is your responsibility to have
this device installed.
It is recommended that you arrange to have this done so that you can be provided with public
water as soon as possible. You should try to coincide this with the Town contractor.
